...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN MCHENRY AND SOUTHEASTERN
BOONE COUNTIES THROUGH 1215 PM CDT...

At 1124 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from near Sharon, Wisconsin to
Belvidere, Illinois. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 40 to 50 mph with downed tree limbs.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Belvidere, Harvard, Marengo, Poplar Grove, Capron, Hebron, Garden
Prairie, and Chemung.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

These storms may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.
