Weather hazards expected... Elevated Thunderstorm Risk...with an associated: Level 2 of 5 Damaging Wind Risk...up to 70 mph. Level 2 of 5 Flash Flooding Risk. Level 1 of 5 Large Hail Risk...up to quarter size. Level 1 of 5 Tornado Risk. Limited Excessive Heat Risk. DISCUSSION... Another round of strong to severe thunderstorms will move across the area late this afternoon through the evening. Damaging winds are expected to be the primary severe hazard, though large hail and tornadoes will also be possible. Torrential downpours may produce flash flooding. In addition, heat indices will likely near or exceed 100 degrees this afternoon. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday. Monday... Elevated Excessive Heat Risk.
