For waters beyond five nautical miles of shore on Lake Ontario

Waves are the significant wave height - the average of the highest
1/3 of the wave spectrum. Occasional wave height is the average of
the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum.

.SYNOPSIS...A 29.5 inch compact low will cross the lake this
afternoon and evening, followed by a weak 29.9 inch surface high
ridging over the Lake tonight. Another 29.5 inch compact low will
cross the Lake on Tuesday. A 29.7 inch cold frontal boundary over
the upper Great Lakes on Tuesday will push across the Lake late
Tuesday night and Wednesday morning. A sprawling 30.2 inch high
over the northern plains Wednesday evening will build across the
entire Great Lakes region late Wednesday night through Friday.

.TONIGHT...West winds 5 to 15 knots becoming southwest. Showers
and thunderstorms likely early. A chance of showers late. Some
thunderstorms may be severe with strong winds and large hail
early. Waves 1 to 3 feet.
.TUESDAY...Southwest winds 10 to 15 knots increasing to 15 to
20 knots. Showers and thunderstorms. Some thunderstorms may
produce gusty winds. Waves 2 to 4 feet.
.TUESDAY NIGHT...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots becoming west
10 to 15 knots. A chance of showers overnight. Waves 2 to 4 feet
subsiding to 1 to 2 feet.
