...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL RUSSELL...SOUTHWESTERN
CASEY AND EASTERN ADAIR COUNTIES THROUGH 415 PM EDT/315 PM CDT/...

At 334 PM EDT/234 PM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking a strong
thunderstorm 7 miles southeast of Columbia, moving northeast at 25
mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Jamestown, Russell Springs, Horntown, Christine, Eli, Cundiff,
Gadberry, Jericho, Windsor, and Teddy.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Louisville.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT/1100 PM CDT/ for
south central and central Kentucky.
