...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 945 PM EDT /845 PM CDT/ THIS
EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...Portions of south central Indiana, including the following
  county, Harrison and central Kentucky, including the following
  counties, Breckinridge, Bullitt, Grayson, Hardin, Meade and Ohio.

* WHEN...Until 945 PM EDT /845 PM CDT/.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 645 PM EDT /545 PM CDT/, Doppler radar indicated heavy
    rain due to thunderstorms. Overflowing poor drainage areas
    may cause minor flooding in the advisory area. Between 1 and
    2 inches of rain have fallen.
  - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected
    over the area. This additional rain may result in minor
    flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Leitchfield, Brandenburg, Hardinsburg, Radcliff, Webster,
    Vine Grove, Irvington, Muldraugh, Clarkson and West Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.

Please report flooding to your local law enforcement agency when you
can do so safely and have them relay your report to the National
Weather Service in Louisville.
