...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN TANGIPAHOA
PARISH THROUGH 1230 PM CDT

At 1200 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Ponchatoula, or near Hammond, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Hammond, Ponchatoula, Springfield, and Robert.

This includes the following Interstates...
 Interstate 12 between mile markers 35 and 53.
 Interstate 55 in Louisiana between mile markers 20 and 31.
