SOUTHWESTERN CALCASIEU PARISHES IN SOUTHWESTERN LOUISIANA AND SOUTHEASTERN ORANGE COUNTIES THROUGH 845 AM CDT... At 818 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Toomey, or 7 miles south of Vinton, moving northeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include... Orange, Bridge City, West Orange, Vinton, Carlyss, Pinehurst, Toomey, Edgerly, and Hackberry. This includes the following highways... Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 880 and 876.
