(Tonight through Thursday night) Wx map shows the surface low associated with post tropical cyclone Beryl over NE AR/SE MO/W TN. Trailing band of scattered showers and a few thunderstorms continues across the coastal waters. Inland, slightly drier air at the surface with dewpoints near 70/lower 70s with mid 70s across Acadiana. Afternoon temperatures in the upper 80s to near 90 expected to rise a couple of degrees into the lower 90s. For tonight, expect scattered showers and a few thunderstorms across the coastal waters, with some increase in coverage overnight into Wednesday morning. For Wednesday afternoon, isolated to scattered showers expected over the I-10 corridor of Acadiana. Further west, expect less than 20% chance of precipitation. Afternoon highs in the lower to mid 90s. Most of the precipitation expected to dissipate by sunset, with scattered showers continuing across the coastal waters overnight. Lows in the lower to mid 70s. For Thursday, ongoing scattered showers and thunderstorms over the coastal waters expected to advance northward as southerly flow becomes more established across the area. Thus, slightly higher chances over 40-50% over Acadiana, with 20-30% further west across Southwest Louisiana/Southeast Texas along the I-10 corridor.
