At 806 PM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 12 miles southeast of Pleasant Valley, or 20 miles southwest of Imperial, moving south at 30 mph. THIS IS A DESTRUCTIVE STORM FOR SOUTHWEST CHASE COUNTY. HAZARD...Baseball size hail. SOURCE...Public. IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be severely injured. Expect shattered windows, extensive damage to roofs, siding, and vehicles. This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of southwestern Chase County.
