...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT WEST CENTRAL CHERRY COUNTY
THROUGH 900 PM CDT...

At 818 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles southwest of Merriman, or 20 miles east of Gordon, moving
southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Indian Hill, Intersection of Highway 61 and Shadbolt Road, Highway 61
crossing the Snake River, and Round Lake.

This includes Highway 61 between mile markers 194 and 213.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in North Platte.
