...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN CHERRY AND
NORTHEASTERN GRANT COUNTIES THROUGH 145 AM MDT...

At 113 AM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 16
miles north of Hyannis, or 38 miles west of Mullen, moving southeast
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Whitman, Whitman Road crossing the North Branch of the Middle Loup
River, and Duluth.

This includes the following highways...
 Highway 2 between mile markers 149 and 159.
 Highway 61 between mile markers 163 and 183.
