...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN CHERRY...
SOUTHWESTERN BROWN AND WESTERN BLAINE COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM CDT...

At 611 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Elsmere, or 21 miles northwest of Brewster, moving south at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Dunning, Elsmere, Purdum, Hawley Flats, and Koshopah.

This includes Highway 2 between mile markers 230 and 240.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until midnight CDT for
north central Nebraska.
