Today, afternoon high temperatures once again climbed into the
90s. Combined with a muggy airmass, heat index values ranged from
the upper 90s to low triple digits.

For tonight, weakening thunderstorms will move into far western
Nebraska. No severe weather is expected but gusty winds cannot be
ruled out. Little in the way of moisture is expected as well with
lows falling into the upper 60s to low 70s.
