Scattered showers and thunderstorms moved through western and
north central Nebraska Monday evening and overnight. The storms
produced rainfall totals of 1/4 to 3/4 of an inch with locally
higher amounts. Low temperatures this morning ranged from 62
degrees at Ogallala and Gordon to 69 degrees at Broken Bow.

Today, a cold front will move into northern Nebraska this
afternoon. The front will be the focus for scattered
thunderstorms, some which could become severe and produce large
hail and wind damage. High temperatures today will rise into the
mid to upper 80s in most areas. Lower 90s are predicted along and
south of Interstate 80 across southwest Nebraska.
