Through 4 PM, widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms will wax and wane as they move across the western Straits of Florida and Gulf waters. These showers and thunderstorms are moving west northwest at 10 to 15 knots. The stronger activity will be capable of wind gusts of 25 to 30 knots, bouts of lightning and blinding downpours. $$
