Through 8 pm, a broken line of showers and thunderstorms in the eastern distant Straits of Florida extending from north of Elbow Cay through northeast of Floyd`s Wall Southeast will move west northwest at 10 to 15 knots. Elsewhere, a few isolated showers will wax and wane in the SE Gulf between Pulaski Shoal Light and S Tower. The stronger activity will be capable of wind gusts near 25 knots, bouts of lightning, and blinding downpours. $$ NB
