Through 3 am, a cluster of showers with an embedded thunderstorm will
move northwest in between Tennessee Reef Light and Alligator Reef
Light stretching across the island chain into Florida Bay at 10 to
15 knots. Mariners encountering these may experience wind gusts 20 to
25 knots, periods of reduced visibilities in moderate to heavy
downpours, and possibly a occasional lightning strikes. Island
communities near Islamorada can expect a couple hundredths of an
inch.
