Through 830 am, scattered showers and isolated stronger, embedded
thunderstorms will move to the northwest at near 10 knots across the
coastal waters north and west of the Florida Key island chain,
including the Florida Bay, Bayside and Gulfside waters, and the
offshore Gulf waters and the Dry Tortugas. Mariners encountering the
stronger cells, mainly in the vicinity of T Tower, can expect wind
gusts up to 30 knots, blinding downpours, and occasional cloud to
surface lightning strikes.
