...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LAUREL...CENTRAL
BELL...KNOX...NORTH CENTRAL WHITLEY AND SOUTH CENTRAL CLAY COUNTIES
THROUGH 200 PM EDT...

At 128 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Gray, or 8 miles northwest of Barbourville, moving east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Barbourville, Artemus, Brightshade, Swan Lake, Moore Hill, Barnyard,
Salt Gum, North Corbin, Jarvis, Cranes Nest, Blanche, Girdler, Rella,
Ice Cliff, Avis, Gray, Dewitt, Flat Lick, Wilton, and Himyar.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Interstate 75 in east central Kentucky between mile markers 30 and
31.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Knox County between mile markers 1 and 26.
 U.S. Highway 25 East in Laurel County between mile markers 0 and 1.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
