...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN PERRY...KNOTT...
WEST CENTRAL FLOYD AND SOUTHEASTERN BREATHITT COUNTIES THROUGH 645 PM
EDT...

At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Buck, or 9 miles northwest of Hindman, moving southeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hindman, Estill, Bath, Pippa Passes, Wayland, Drew, Raven, Ritchie,
May, Buck, Mousie, Pine Top, Leburn, Handshoe, Ary, Emmalena, Glo,
Kite, Nealy, and Bearville.

THIS INCLUDES THE FOLLOWING HIGHWAYS...
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Knott County between mile markers 1 and 20.
 Kentucky Highway 80 in Perry County between mile markers 14 and 15.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
