...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTH CENTRAL LETCHER AND
CENTRAL KNOTT COUNTIES THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 653 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Hindman, moving southeast at 20 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Hindman, Bath, Pippa Passes, Drew, Cody, May, Pine Top, Leburn, Carr
Creek, Isom, Kite, Nealy, Omaha, Colson, Amelia, Redfox, Ivis,
Democrat, Larkslane, and Garner.

THIS INCLUDES Kentucky Highway 80 in Knott County between mile
markers 6 and 13.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
