This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for a portion of eastern Kentucky.

.DAY ONE...Today and tonight.

There is a slight chance of thunderstorms late this afternoon and
evening roughly north and west of a line extending from Somerset to
Jackson to Paintsville.

Heat indices will approach 100 degrees in some locations this
afternoon.


.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday.

Thunderstorms are possible area wide at times Tuesday afternoon
through Thursday, with the highest probability Wednesday afternoon
and evening. Thunderstorms are also possible once again Friday and
Saturday, mainly in the afternoon and evening.

Afternoon heat indices are forecast to reach 100 degrees in some
locations Monday through Wednesday.
