Heat index values will reach the upper 90s to lower 100s this afternoon, which may cause heat impacts especially for vulnerable populations and those in heat-sensitive industries. Thunderstorms are possible, especially late this afternoon through the overnight. A few thunderstorms could produce damaging winds. Despite the recent abnormally dry conditions, there is also the risk for excessive rainfall producing localized flooding, with the greatest threat through late tonight north of Kentucky Highway 80 and the Hal Rogers Parkway. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday. Thunderstorms are possible at times Wednesday through Monday, with the highest probability Wednesday afternoon and evening. Some storms could produce excessive rainfall causing localized flooding issues, especially in far eastern Kentucky. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
