...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHERN JASPER...SOUTHERN
NEWTON AND WESTERN CLARKE COUNTIES THROUGH 445 PM CDT...

At 417 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Rose Hill, or 12 miles southeast of Newton, moving east at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and penny size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northern Jasper,
southern Newton and western Clarke Counties.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
