...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT WESTERN WABASH...FULTON...EASTERN
PULASKI...WESTERN KOSCIUSKO...CASS...MIAMI...SOUTHEASTERN STARKE AND
MARSHALL COUNTIES THROUGH 400 AM EDT/300 AM CDT/...

At 316 AM EDT/216 AM CDT/, Doppler radar was tracking strong
thunderstorms along a line extending from 6 miles south of Koontz
Lake to 7 miles northwest of Rochester to 7 miles west of Logansport.
Movement was northeast at 70 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Logansport, Warsaw, Peru, Wabash, Plymouth, Nappanee, Rochester,
Winona Lake, Bourbon, Argos, Culver, Akron, Mentone, Royal Center,
Mexico, Wells, Walnut, Tippecanoe, Oak Grove, and Silver Lake.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Persons in campgrounds should consider seeking sturdy shelter until
these storms pass.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 500 AM EDT/400 AM
CDT/ for north central and northwestern Indiana.
