...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN FULTON...
SOUTHWESTERN TAZEWELL...NORTHEASTERN MASON AND SOUTH CENTRAL PEORIA
COUNTIES THROUGH 130 AM CDT...

At 112 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Manito, or 11 miles northeast of Havana, moving east at 35 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pekin, Havana, Manito, South Pekin, Glasford, Easton, Mapleton,
Kingston Mines, Forest City, Banner, Liverpool, Topeka, Chatauqua
Park, Powerton, Goofy Ridge, and Little America.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 300 AM CDT for
central and west central Illinois.
