...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN WOODFORD...
NORTHEASTERN TAZEWELL...NORTHWESTERN MCLEAN AND SOUTHERN PEORIA
COUNTIES THROUGH 915 PM CDT...

At 847 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Trivoli to near Deer Creek. Movement was
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Locations impacted include...
Peoria, Pekin, East Peoria, Morton, Eureka, Washington, Bartonville,
Creve Coeur, West Peoria, Marquette Heights, Bellevue, Hanna City,
Trivoli, Goodfield, Deer Creek, Congerville, Secor, Mapleton, Peoria
International Airport, and Peoria Heights.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 155 between mile markers 29 and 31.
 Interstate 474 between mile markers 0 and 14.
 Interstate 74 between mile markers 85 and 120.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.
