214 AWUS83 KICT 042148 RWSICT KSZ032-033-047>053-067>072-082-083-091>096-098>100-051000- Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Wichita KS 448 PM CDT Thu Jul 4 2024 Mostly sunny skies and seasonal temperatures were in place across central and eastern Kansas today. Late afternoon temperatures ranged from the low 80s across north central Kansas, to the low 90s over the southeast corner of the Sunflower State. Storms will be possible this evening along a weak cold front from central Oklahoma into southern and central Missouri, with the remainder of the Plains expected to remain dry. Surface high pressure is expected to settle over the region on Friday and will provide dry conditions to the area. Overnight lows are forecast to range from the low 50s over western Nebraska, to the low 70s over eastern Oklahoma. Look for highs on Friday to range from the 70s across most of Nebraska and Iowa, to the 80s across Kansas and Oklahoma. $$
