Much of the central plains have soared into the upper 90s to low
100s this afternoon, although some portions of central and
eastern Nebraska have managed to only top out in the mid to upper
80s. A few showers and isolated storms have been noted across
portions of Kansas and Nebraska today, and a very low chance of a
passing shower or storm will remain through the evening hours.
Additional low chances for showers and storms will come tonight
and into the overnight hours across portions of eastern Nebraska,
northeast Kansas, and much of Missouri. Overnight lows across the
region will likely only dip into the upper 60s to mid 70s.

Much of the region will rise into the 100s Saturday afternoon with
some locations across northwest Kansas getting close to 110. An
isolated storm is possible across northwest Kansas during the
afternoon hours. Quiet but warm conditions continue into Saturday
night with lows in the mid to upper 70s across much of the central
plains, and lows in the mid 60s across the High Plains.
