This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Heat indices will range from 105 to 110 degrees through the early
evening. Refer to the latest Heat Advisory statement for details and
safety information.

There is a chance for thunderstorms, mainly overnight. A few strong
storms capable of small hail and strong wind gusts will be possible.
An isolated severe storm cannot be ruled out.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday

Heat indices could still climb into the 100 to 104 degree range on
Tuesday afternoon for areas of south central and southeast Kansas,
mainly closer to the Oklahoma border.

Chances for thunderstorms will redevelop areawide Tuesday night. A
few strong to marginally severe storms will be possible along with
scattered areas of locally heavy rainfall.

Chances for thunderstorms will linger into Wednesday before ending
by Wednesday evening. Slight chances for thunderstorms will return
by Friday night through Sunday, though the risk for severe weather
appears low.
