This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

A few strong to marginally severe storms will remain possible
into the late morning, capable of dime size hail and 50 to 60 mph
wind gusts. Some storms will also produce heavy rainfall rates,
mainly east of the Kansas turnpike.

The risk for severe storms will become a bit more likely again by
late this afternoon or evening through tonight. These storms will
have the potential to produce damaging winds up to 70 mph and half
dollar size hail. Locally heavy rainfall could also result in minor
lowland flooding tonight.

Heat indices of 104-108 will be possible for a few hours this
afternoon along the Oklahoma State line. See the latest heat
advisory for details.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Chances for thunderstorms will linger into Wednesday before ending
by Wednesday evening. Slight chances for thunderstorms will return
by Friday night through Sunday, though the risk for severe weather
appears low.
