This hazardous weather outlook is for portions of Central Kansas,
South Central Kansas and Southeast Kansas.

.DAY ONE...Tonight

Heat indices of 100 to 105 are expected through early evening for
portions of south central and southeast Kansas, mainly along and
south of a Kingman to Wichita to Chanute. Refer to the latest heat
advisory for details and safety information.

A risk for strong to severe storms will develop again this evening
and tonight. These storms will have the potential to produce wind
gusts of 55 to 65 mph and half dollar size hail.

Locally heavy rainfall could also result in minor lowland flooding
tonight along the state line.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday

Chances for thunderstorms will linger into Wednesday before ending
by Wednesday evening. Slight chances for thunderstorms will return
by Friday night through Monday, though the risk for severe weather
appears low at this time.

Spotter activation is not anticipated tonight.
