...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 PM PDT SUNDAY...

.DISCUSSION...A surge of tropical moisture will provide for
scattered showers and thunderstorms across the Sierra Nevada
through Sunday evening. Since these thunderstorms are
moisture deficient, dry lightning will remain possible and
a Red Flag Warning will continue. A cooling trend will take
place across the area through the middle of next week with
drier conditions becoming more predominant by Tuesday.

                    thunderstorms.

Min humidity........18-23 percent.
Surface winds (mph).Northeast 4 to 8 mph, except gusty and
