At 320 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the leading edge of an area of heavy rain along a line extending from 12 miles northeast of Monroe to 16 miles southwest of Wadesboro, and moving east at 15 mph. Locations to be impacted include... Unionville, Wingate, Marshville, Fairview In Union County, Sturdivants, and New Salem. Torrential rainfall rates up to 3 inches per hour will be possible in these areas. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
