...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT CENTRAL ELBERT...SOUTHEASTERN
HART...SOUTH CENTRAL ANDERSON AND SOUTHWESTERN ABBEVILLE COUNTIES
THROUGH 730 PM EDT...

At 706 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 4
miles west of Elberton, moving northeast at 25 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and pea size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Elberton, Lowndesville, Middleton, Russell State Park, Lake Russell,
Dewy Rose, Rock Branch, Nuberg, Sweet City, and Ruckersville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.
