...A SPECIAL MARINE WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT...

For the following areas...

Open waters of Lake Michigan from Rock Island Passage to Sturgeon
Bay...

At 734 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 nm northwest of
North Manitou Island, moving east at 25 knots.

HAZARD...Wind gusts 34 knots or greater and large hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and
         suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in
         structural damage.

The severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly open waters.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Boaters should seek safe harbor immediately until this storm passes.
Wind gusts 34 knots or greater, large hail, high waves, dangerous
lightning, and heavy rain are possible with this storm.
