...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN YUMA COUNTY THROUGH
445 PM MDT...

At 359 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm
capable of producing a landspout near Lone Star, or 14 miles
northwest of Yuma, moving southeast at 10 mph.

HAZARD...Landspout tornadoes and wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Gusty winds
         could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured
         objects.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Yuma
County, including the following locations... Clarkville.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with this storm and may lead to
localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

This storm may intensify, so be certain to monitor local radio
stations and available television stations for additional information
and possible warnings from the National Weather Service.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will relay your report to the National Weather Service
office in Goodland.
