...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN KIT CARSON AND
NORTHWESTERN SHERMAN COUNTIES THROUGH 515 PM MDT...

At 448 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 9
miles northwest of Kanorado, moving east at 5 mph.

HAZARD...Brief, localized wind gusts up to 55 mph, pea to penny size
         hail and torrential rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible. Torrential rainfall with this storm may lead to
         localized flooding.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northeastern Kit
Carson and northwestern Sherman Counties.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Kansas between mile markers 0 and 8.
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 440 and 450.
 Highway 385 between mile markers 193 and 203.
