...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT CHEYENNE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL
COLORADO...SOUTHERN YUMA COUNTY IN NORTHEASTERN COLORADO AND KIT
CARSON COUNTIES IN EAST CENTRAL COLORADO THROUGH 815 PM MDT...

At 746 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from 16 miles east of Cope to 10 miles south of
Stratton to 15 miles north of Haswell. Movement was east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects.

Strong thunderstorms will be near...
  Bethune and Kit Carson around 755 PM MDT.

This includes the following highways...
 Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 399 and 445.
 Highway 385 between mile markers 154 and 221.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms and may lead
to localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 900 PM MDT for
northeastern and east central Colorado.
