...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHWESTERN KIT CARSON COUNTY
THROUGH 645 PM MDT...

At 612 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 10
miles southwest of Cope, or 19 miles north of Flagler, moving south
at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 55 mph, pea to penny size hail and
         torrential rainfall.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to outdoor objects is
         possible. Torrential rainfall with this storm may lead to
         localized street flooding.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Kit
Carson County.

This includes Interstate 70 in Colorado between mile markers 398 and
407.
