...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT SOUTHEASTERN LOGAN COUNTY
THROUGH 430 PM CDT...

At 405 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over
Russell Springs, or 19 miles northwest of Scott State Lake, moving
east at 30 mph.

HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of southeastern Logan
County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 800 PM CDT for
west central Kansas.
