A slight shift in the pattern in the mid to late week period will supply a moisture tap for increased thunderstorm chances. Unfortunately these storms will initially arrive with more wind than rainfall and bring a threat of new fire starts. Wetting rainfall chances will increase in coverage by late week but this looks to be limited to the mid and high elevations with lower elevations receiving limited rainfall in most cases.
