956 AWUS85 KGGW 172046 RWSGGW Regional Weather Summary National Weather Service Glasgow MT 246 PM MDT Wed Jul 17 2024 This is the regional weather summary for the eastern two-thirds of Montana, southern Saskatchewan, and western North Dakota. An upper level ridge over the western United States will keep hot conditions around through this weekend. A weak disturbance moving east through the northern Rockies Thursday will pass through the region Thursday Night and exit our area late Friday or Saturday. For tonight, aside from a couple thunderstorms over south-central Montana early this evening, skies will generally be clear tonight across the area. Lows will generally be in the 60s. On Thursday, clouds will increase from west to east but remaining sunny over western North Dakota. Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms can be expected over central Montana to move into eastern Montana late in the day or at night. Highs are expected to be in the 90s over eastern Montana but 80s over parts of North Dakota, Saskatchewan and central Montana. Showers and thunderstorms will linger into Friday over North Dakota and eastern Montana but sunny over central Montana. Highs are expected to be 85 to 95. $$ weather.gov/glasgow
