This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for North and Central Texas.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight.
Dangerous heat will persist today with many locations topping
100 degrees. Even where temperatures peak in the 90s, triple-digit
heat index values are likely.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Wednesday through Monday.
Storm chances return Wednesday and Thursday as a rare summer cold
front enters the region. The overall severe threat will be low, but a
few storms could be accompanied by frequent lightning and strong
gusty winds.

An unsettled pattern will maintain daily storm chances into next
week. Severe weather is unlikely Friday through Monday, but heavy
rainfall will be possible.
