164 WGUS85 KFGZ 200312 FLSFGZ Flood Advisory National Weather Service Flagstaff AZ 812 PM MST Fri Jul 19 2024 AZC025-200515- /O.CON.KFGZ.FA.Y.0019.000000T0000Z-240720T0515Z/ /00000.N.ER.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.000000T0000Z.OO/ Yavapai AZ- 812 PM MST Fri Jul 19 2024 ...FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1015 PM MST THIS EVENING... * WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE...A portion of west central Arizona, including the following county, Yavapai. * WHEN...Until 1015 PM MST. * IMPACTS...Minor flooding in creeks and normally dry washes is imminent or occurring. Dangerous flooding over low-water crossings. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 810 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated the heavy rain due to thunderstorms has ended across the advised area. However, minor flooding is ongoing or still expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2.25 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following creeks, washes and rivers... Alkali Wash, Sycamore Creek, Tank Creek, Burnt Wash, Eastwood Creek, Loco Creek, Kirkland Creek, Santa Maria River, Cottonwood Canyon and Smith Canyon. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... mainly rural areas of Yavapai County - Visit www.weather.gov/safety/flood for more information on flood safety.
