This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of North and Central Georgia.

.DAY ONE...This Afternoon and Tonight...

Scattered thunderstorms are ongoing this afternoon. Some activity
may continue into the overnight hours, especially in central
Georgia. The main threat will be gusty winds, frequent lightning
and locally heavy rainfall.

Hot and humid conditions with heat index values around 100 degrees
are possible mainly south of a line from Columbus to Athens.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday...

Scattered to numerous afternoon and evening thunderstorms can be
expected through the weekend. Severe weather is not expected at
this time but heavy rain could elevate the localized flash flood
threat.
