Minimum humidity levels will range from the 20s along the Rio Grande to around 60s along US 77 this weekend. A surface boundary could bring isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms to most areas today. The arrival of tropical moisture in association with Beryl late Sunday through much of next week will keep minimum humidity levels above 40 percent area wide. In addition, chances of showers and thunderstorms increase with its passage on Monday. While it still remains too early for rainfall amounts, this rain could be heavy and beneficial especially across eastern areas. Tropical storm force winds are possible across eastern areas with its passage. Low chances of showers and thunderstorms continue mid to late week. Below normal temperatures can be expected due to the clouds and rain on Monday across eastern areas, otherwise, near normal temperatures are expected.
