...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM NOON MDT TODAY THROUGH THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...A portion of south central New Mexico, including the
  following areas, East Slopes Sacramento Mountains Below 7500 Feet
  and Sacramento Mountains Above 7500 Feet.

* WHEN...From noon MDT today through this evening.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers,
  creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
  Burn scars from the South Fork and Salt fires will be especially
  sensitive to flooding. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged
  with debris that could cause additional flooding.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Heavy rains are possible over the Salt and South Fork burn
    scars Saturday afternoon and evening.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible Flood
Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be prepared
to take action should flooding develop.
