The system is moving west-northward into increasingly hostile environmental conditions, and tropical cyclone development is no longer expected. * Formation chance through 48 hours...low...near 0 percent. * Formation chance through 7 days...low...near 0 percent. South of Southwestern Mexico: An area of low pressure could form several hundred miles offshore of southwestern Mexico late this week.
