  Blue River At 71 Highway Kansas City affecting Jackson County.

  Blue River at Blue Ridge Boulevard Kansas City affecting Jackson
  County.

  Blue River at Bannister Road Kansas City affecting Jackson and
  Johnson Counties.

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Missouri...

  Blue River At 63rd Street Kansas City affecting Jackson County.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. Most flood related deaths
occur in automobiles. Do not attempt to cross water covered bridges,
dips, or low water crossings. Never try to cross a flowing stream,
even a small one, on foot. To escape rising water find another route
over higher ground.

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Blue River at 71 Highway Kansas City.

* WHEN...Until just after midnight tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 27.0 feet, Flooding begins to affect South Hickman
  Mills Road and Blue River Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:20 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 30.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 31.4
    feet late this morning. It will then fall below flood stage
    this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 27.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 35.3 feet, Recreation area on the northwest side of
  the bridge begins to flood.
  At 36.0 feet, Low-lying apartments along Holmes Road begin to flood.
  At 36.5 feet, Red bridge road begins to flood.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:00 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 34.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 35.0
    feet this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 35.0 feet.

* IMPACTS...At 34.0 feet, Woodlands along the river are flooded.
  Water may also approach flood stage at 71 highway and other
  downstream locations.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 8:45 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 29.0 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 34.0
    feet this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 34.0 feet.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Blue River at 63rd Street Kansas City.

* WHEN...Until late tonight.

* IMPACTS...At 20.0 feet, Backwater from the Blue River begins to
  flood a low water bridge on Hillcrest Road.
  At 26.0 feet, Flood water begins to cover Oldham Road.
  At 28.0 feet, Water reaches railroad tracks just south of Gregory
  Boulevard.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:20 AM CDT Thursday the stage was 24.9 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise above flood stage
    late this morning to a crest of 28.1 feet this afternoon. It
    will then fall below flood stage late this afternoon.
  - Flood stage is 26.0 feet.
